I will be using social media as a big part of the exhibition marketing. I will be creating content for Twitter and Facebook and so I can compare the number of engagements per impression for individual posts to see what type of content works best, but can also compare between platforms. I will test different types of posts e.g. meet the artist, images of the work, behind the scenes, marketing about the exhibition and use social media analytics to see what’s the most effective. I will also include the link to the exhibition website on all posts to see which type of posts encourage people to click through to find out more. I can then focus my time on the most effective types of marketing.
