My art responds to the built environment and aims to disrupt it. I use photography and screenprinting to create alternative versions of what we see and place these in the landscape. I recently graduated from Granton College of Fine Art where I undertook a number of placements to develop my industry knowledge as well as graduating with a special award for my dissertation project. In the last six months I have worked closely with MJ Abbas as an artistic mentor and I also did workshops in a range of printmaking skills at the London Academy. My first solo exhibition after graduating was at Hampton Mill as part of a county wide project looking at significant industrial buildings in the area and many of the 120 visitors left positive comments such as “......

We are a new charity based in Reading combining arts and sustainability, yet in a relatively short space of time we have firmly established ourselves as a vital part of our local community. We have an excellent track record in careful fund and project management. In the last 2 years we have welcomed over 8000 people to our pop up events and in the past six months have set up a residents group to collaborate with us on developing our programme. We work closely with the local community and wildlife and sustainability experts as well as having national and regional partnerships with organisations such as Friends of the Earth and the Reading Conservation Volunteers. I am a poet and spoken word artist. As well as a number of performances as a 'headline' performer on the UK poetry scene- including a performance at The New Theatre and as part of a series of events for Word UK-I have toured my previous spoken word show to over 60 venues, funded by Arts Council and the Fendon Trust. As well as theatre spaces I have performed in libraries, a church, an old shoe factory, Shambala festival, a museum, empty shops etc, reaching sizeable audiences, many of whom were not the 'traditional' theatre audience.
